Early morning, a departure from Marrakech for a desert trip to Morocco, to cross the high Atlas Mountains, with stops on the way for a nice picture of the panoramic views and Berber villages in the Mountains, and you would be able to visit a women’s cooperative of the Argane, Than heading to Ouarzazate through the passes of Tizi n’Tichka (2260m high), and upon of your Arrival in Ouarzazate, you would be able to Visit the Film Studio were was a lot of films moved ( Gladiator, Lawrence Arabia, prince of Persia…) and Ouarzazate it called the African Hollywood, Lunch on the place, then drive to Skoura valley to visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Next, the 4 days tour from Marrakech to the desert will lead you to the Dades Canyon and to the perfumed Kelaa M’Gouna, Boumalne, and finally to Dades Valley, Diner and accommodation at the Hotel Kasbah.

Dades – Tinghir – Todra Canyon – Tinjdad – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga

In the morning we will drive to Tinghir and the great canyons of Morocco Todra Gorges is situated beyond the central high Atlas Mountains. Here, the contrasting landscapes remind visitors of Colorado, with its high plateau, its gorges, and great canyons, and its peaks sometimes splintered by erosion. Several peaks in this area exceed 4000 m, with Jbel Saghro at 2500 m and Jbel Mgoun at 4068 m as the highest peak in this part of the High Atlas. The area is populated by Berbers. Here you can enjoy a hike among those fabulous canyons. Then continuation across some Berber villages with a stop for lunch in Tinjdadd, After lunch drive to Erfoud for a visit to Fossils, as Erfoud is the capital of Fossils in Morocco, after driving to Merzouga desert for a camel ride to meet one of the most fascinating sights we will ever see, the superb sunset in the middle of the high sand dunes of Merzouga. Tonight we stay in a Berber-tented desert camp and enjoy a wonderful stars view.

Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazzarine – Nkoub – Draa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate

In order to enjoy fully the sunrise over the immense desert, you should rise up very early and climb up the high dunes return to the Camp for breakfast, and back in the caravan to meet your Car for driving to the vast palm grove of Tafilalet and to Rissani, the first capital politic of Morocco on dynasty Alaouit, after road leads to Alnif where you have lunch, Tazarine and N’Kob are the next passages to the Valley of Draa, the longest valley in Morocco about 1400 Km, Continue to Ouarzazate crossing the Anti-Atlas at 1660m high. Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – Tifoultoute – Marrakech

In the morning ad after breakfast, diving about 30 km from Ouarzazate there is the fortified city of Aït Ben Haddou, built in the 11th century. Once upon a time, this Kasbah was the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh. It is situated on a hill along the Ounila River and has some beautiful examples of kasbahs, which unfortunately sustain damage during each rainstorm and windstorm. Most of the town’s inhabitants now live in a more modern village on the other side of the river; however, around five families are still living within this Kasbah. Aït Benhaddou Kasbah has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and several films have been shot there, including Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Time Bandits (1981), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), Kundun (1997), Gladiator (2000) and Alexander (2004). Then drive to Cross the High Atlas Mountains about ( 2260 m high), stop on the way for visiting the women’s Argan Cooperative then continue to Marrakech and end our services.
