Team Morocco Nomad Safari prepared 3-day Dunes of Zagora camel trekking tour. On this tour, you will see Atlas, Telouet, Ouarzazate Agadez, Draa valley, and Zagora.
Departure: at 8:30 am. On the way to Zagora, there are plenty of side treasures to see. Via Tizi n‘Tichka High Atlas Mountains will welcome us and take us to Telouate. It's a rustic kasbah, another member of the famous monuments of Morocco. Here, we will stop too, and have lunch at the local restaurant. For a special visit, there is also the great Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village, protected by UNESCO. The place to have a sleepover offers the quiet town of Ouarzazate.
With morning departure, we are heading to a trading village situated along the shores of the Draa River. Agdez, since meaning “resting place “, is a lovely passing point. Another feature of this region is Tamnogalte Kasbah. Because this trip is off-road, the loveliness of Draa Valley will drag us into the shadows of palm trees. In addition, numerous ksours are making this sight even more beautiful. From the valley, we get to Zagora. Finally, we will have lunch and meet its alluring surroundings. You would love to discover the sight of marvelous dunes on camels rather than on foot or by 4x4. At the end of the day, you will sleep in a nomad bivouac and Berber tents.
Departure: at 8:00 am. After breakfast, by 4x4 again, we will head to Ouarzazate. From many of its monuments, our destination will be Taourirt Kasbah and Cinema Museum. Travelers, also citizens gladly rest in the shadow of this golden fortress. Here we will have lunch at the restaurant and then our 3-day trip will end, by heading back to Marrakech.
