4 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour. On this 4-day tour, you will visit so many amazing sites. Including the Atlas mountains, the Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, Ouarzazate city, the Dades, and also Todra gorges. In addition to the Merzouga Sahara desert and many Berber villages. Ride camels to the heart of the desert. Also, witness the magical sunset and sunrise in the Sahara. Furthermore, you will visit the Rissani traditional market, and Erfoud the fossils town. Then visit the Switzerland of Morocco Ifrane and the cedars forest where the Barbary macaque lives. Finally, the tour ends in Fes.
From Marrakech, the imperial city of great fame, we will connect directly with Ouarzazate. Meanwhile, landscapes of a mystic High Atlas will follow you on your journey, giving you a relaxing feeling. So, it is always good to pay attention to things that are not on your map or plan. You can always be surprised by some ancient kasbah sleeping in the cradle of palms, or some shy Berber village.
As soon as the second day begins we will fill it with places to remember. First on our minds is Rose Valley. Truly romantic soul lying in the fields of these sensual flowers. Let your body and mind assimilate with your surroundings, it will maybe need some time. As we stand there, we will continue visiting natural sites, going to the palm grove of Tinerhir. Of course, the perfect way to end this day would be standing in front of Todra Gorge Canyons, where you will be amazed, for sure.
On the 3rd day, we will step a little bit outside of the green oasis and taste the real life of the desert. Merzouga dunes shall wave with all the shades of gold as we ride on a back of a camel. Camel trekking is here unavoidable thing, and you don’t want to skip that opportunity. You also don’t want to miss sleeping in a tent, under the clear sky full of stars.
From this splendid night and inspirational riding, we will head north. Passing the Ziz Valley you will be able to catch a glimpse of a series of gorges. However, our destination will be Azrou. But on the way, we could see some of the Fes city spreading beauties. Azrou, located between Middle Atlas and High Atlas, it’s not famous just because of the first high school in the Berber region. It is also rich in fish farms, and cherry and apple trees. Both inside and outside of the city are extremely developed. The most relevant is the Cedar Forest with Barbary Monkeys and rare butterfly species. On the other hand, there is a place for humans, as well as they respect the wildlife of this place. A lot of hikers, climbers, and picnickers find here relaxing spots as well as an adrenaline rush. At the end of the 4th day, we'll head back to Fez. This time to stay a bit longer, and explore as much of its greatness as we can.
